Call for witnesses to zebra crossing crash

A 63-year-old woman was seriously injured when she was hit by a four-wheel drive at a pedestrian crossing in Fremantle late last month.

Police are calling for witnesses to the collision, which happened at the intersection of High Street and Queen Street about 9am on Saturday, April 26.

A police spokeswoman said the 63-year-old was at a zebra crossing when she was struck down by a Land Rover Defender tray back.

She was rushed to Royal Perth Hospital with serious injuries.
