Two men have been charged after a fracas outside a bar in the city left a man with serious head injuries.

It will be alleged a 23-year-old Maddington man punched the 21-year-old victim outside the Lost Society bar on Hay Street in the early hours of April 27.

The altercation caused the victim to fall and strike his head on the pavement.

The 21-year-old Darch man was taken to Royal Perth Hospital and placed in an induced coma.

A further argument broke out between the victim’s 21-year-old friend, the accused and his friend.

The 21-year-old Morley man sustained a broken nose and a fractured eye socket in the alleged attack.

The 23-year-old Maddington man has been charged with grievous bodily harm and acts or omissions with intent to harm cause bodily harm and will appear before Perth Magistrate’s Court on May 15.

A 22-year-old Duncraig man has been charged with acts or omissions, with intent to harm cause bodily harm. He will appear in court on May 9.
