UPDATE: An 18-year-old Donnybrook man has died after an accident at the Bunbury Motorcycle Club.

Police were called to the BMC track on South Western Highway about 12.15pm yesterday.

A police spokeswoman said today that the teenager was riding an off-road motorcycle on the motocross course during a members-only training day.

He crossed a "table top" jump then collided with a front-end loader that was being used for course maintenance and repair.

Riders, officials and paramedics desperately tried to resuscitate the man but he died at the scene.

BMC president Ian Scarlett said it was a dark day for the club.

A statement on the club's Facebook page said the track would be closed until further notice.

Police are investigating and WorkSafe has been notified.

The death came as another rider was seriously injured in a crash near Bickley.

The man was flown to Royal Perth Hospital with serious injuries after he crashed his motorcycle near the intersection of Lockwood and Patterson roads yesterday morning.

Though yesterday’s death will not be included in the State road toll, it comes in the wake of a string of motorcycle crashes and the deaths of six people during a horror Easter on WA roads.
