Car search reveals drug-making equipment

Police locked down a road in Geraldton after finding drug-manufacturing equipment in a car this morning.

Two men and a woman have been arrested after their car was stopped on Chapman Road in the early hours of the morning.

Chapman Road is closed between Crowtherton Street and Swan Drive and the car is still at the scene.

A police spokeswoman said the road would remain closed for the rest of the day in the interests of public safety.

Organised crime squad officers are on their way to Geraldton to investigate.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
