Gunman robs Beeliar service station

Police are searching for a man who held up a Beeliar service station at gun point last night.

About 7.45pm, the man entered the Coles Express service station on Beeliar Drive.

He was armed with a gun and his face was covered with a balaclava.

The man threatened staff and demanded money then fled the area on foot with a sum of cash.

Witnesses said he was about 183cm tall with light coloured skin and a heavy build.

He was wearing a dark jacket and pants.
