Woman falls down Karijini gorge
Emergency services are attempting to rescue a woman who has fallen down a gorge at Karijini National Park.
Police and paramedics were called to Dale’s Gorge, 109km east of Tom Price, just after 3pm today.
The woman fell between five and six metres into the gorge.
A St John Ambulance spokesman said paramedics from Newman and Tom Price are at the scene, but the extent of the woman’s injuries is not yet known.
He said the woman would be taken to Tom Price once rescued from the gorge, where a decision would be made on whether to fly her to Perth for treatment.
