A man has died after being trapped in a car involved in a crash east of Perth last night.

The crash occurred at Bruce Rock-Narembeen and Depot roads in Bruce Rock just before 10pm.

Firefighters were called to the scene.

Last night's fatality follows the deaths of two other people killed in crashes yesterday in the lead-up to the Easter long weekend in WA.

A male teenager died in Carnarvon, and a person was killed after a car hit a tree in Collie.

Police Commissioner Karl O'Callaghan launched Operation Crossroads yesterday and said he feared road users would again ignore factors they could control: speeding, seatbelts, alcohol, drugs, distraction, inattention and fatigue.

Mr O'Callaghan urged drivers in WA to be responsible and think about their driving this Easter.
