Ram raiders smashed their way into two businesses overnight.

Police believe the two incidents may be linked

At around 1.45am, a vehicle drove into the Old Morley markets crashing in the entry of a jewellery store but nothing was taken.

At around 2.10am, thieves targeted a Cash Generators store on Great Eastern Highway in Midland.

Police believe a stolen Toyota Kluger was used to ram through the roller door and gain entry to the premises.

Jewellery was stolen.

The vehicle was found abandoned nearby at the intersection of Hooley Road and Cope Street in Midland.
