A Mitsubishi Pajero with a black bull bar was used to smash into a jewellery store in a Mirrabooka shopping centre early this morning.

A police spokeswoman said one or more offenders drove their way into the west entrance of a shopping complex on Yirrigan Drive, Mirrabooka between 12.30am and 1am.

"Once inside, offenders forced their way through the entry doors of a jewellery store," she said.

"They smashed display cabinets and stole various items before fleeing the area."
