Fire crews sent to Bullsbrook blaze

Water bombers and helicopters have been sent to fight a fire in Bullsbrook this afternoon.

Emergency authorities received a call just after 4pm about a scrub fire near Almeria Parade, close to Warbrook Road.

It is believed the fire is in Twin Swamps Nature Reserve.

The Department of Fire and Emergency services has deployed six fire crews, two fixed-wing water bombers, one helitac and one aerial support helicopter.

Motorists are urged to avoid the area.
