Pinjarra Lotto ticket worth $1m

A WA Lotto player picked up the only Division 1 prize in last night’s draw taking home a $1 million prize.

The winning ticket was sold at Pinjarra News and General Store.

It’s the second Division 1 ticket sold at the outlet in just two months following a $373,994 ticket sold there earlier this year which was claimed by a local couple.

Manager of Pinjarra News and General Store Nadene Plowman said the good news was spreading around town quickly with lots of excited locals rushing through the doors to check their tickets.

"It’s been crazy here this morning. We have our fingers crossed that it’s another local player who has picked up the prize," she said.

Ms Plowman said Lady Luck had followed them after moving into their new premises at the end of January.

"We sold the last big winning ticket just before moving into our new shop and now we have sold one here. Luck must be following us," she said.
