Polo a great place to call home

Actors *Sara Wiseman *and *Craig Hall *will be mixing work with play when they return to *WA * this weekend - the very same place they shot a once-in-a- lifetime cinematic campaign highlighting the State's best sights last year.

After experiencing the *Kimberley *'s natural wonders for the Tourism WA feature, the stars of Seven show A Place to Call Home and real-life married couple will swap the *North West *for the *Swan Valley *when they appear at Citigold Polo in the Valley tomorrow at *Duncraig Stud *alongside *WAAPA *-trained ingenue *Abby Earl *.

Speaking to _AAA Weekend _before the highly anticipated event, New Zealand- raised Wiseman said it was her "dream job" to travel around the country with fellow Kiwi Hall.

"It's great to be able to combine work and pleasure at the same time," she said.

"We have worked together a few times in various screen and theatre gigs but A Place to Call Home is definitely a highlight."

Wiseman, who plays Carolyn Bligh on the period series, is still revelling in the news A Place to Call Home was nominated for its first Logie award earlier this week in the category of most outstanding drama.

She said it was a great honour for the show to be up for the accolade after just one season.

"It's the amount of effort and love that goes into the show from every department and it's really great that is being acknowledged by the industry," she said.

And just like the one million-plus viewers that tuned in to each episode during the first season, Wiseman can't wait for the show to return in coming months.

"The ante gets upped and there are some really great storylines, outfits and all that kind of thing," she said.
