James Franco has denied he was one of Lindsay Lohan's sexual conquests. The Spider Man star was linked to Lohan back in 2011 after the pair apparently became friends after working on a video project together.

He has previously denied the relationship was ever sexual, but rumours of a secret fling resurfaced this month when a US tabloid published a handwritten list of names said to be Lohan's former lovers.

Franco was included on the note along with several other stars including Justin Timberlake, Colin Farrell and Heath Ledger.

But the actor dismissed the list as untrue.

When asked by Los Angeles Magazine about his decision to include several poems about Lohan in a new book of verse, Franco said: "I didn't write anything bad about (her).

"And Lindsay herself has told lies about me with her 'people-she's-slept-with' list.

"So I feel like what I said is much less than what she's said."
