The dog squad helped police officers arrest three people in separate incidents across Perth last night.

Officers were at a home on Broadley Place in Gosnells yesterday when a man allegedly jumped a fence and tried to run from the scene about 5.15pm.

Police dog Enzo found the man under insulation in the roof of a nearby home about half an hour later.

The 26-year-old has been charged with stealing, breaching bail and attempting to pervert the course of justice.

A short time later, a man allegedly threatened someone with a metal pole before jumping a fence on Storey Place in Yangebup.

The 43-year-old Yangebup man left but was found by police dog Rumble off a bush track in Beeliar.

He has been charged with going armed to cause fear and will appear in Fremantle Magistrate’s Court on April 8.

Just after 11am, police tried to stop a car that was allegedly being driven along train tracks in North Lake.

The car was damaged and stopped about 500m off North Lake Road.

The male driver and a female passenger left on foot but were found in the backyard of a home on Woollybrush Place in Bibra Lake.

A 44-year-old Yangebup man has been charged with failing to stop, having no authority to drive, reckless driving with circumstances of aggravation and breaching bail.

He will appear in Perth Magistrate’s Court today.
