Police believe this man may help them solve a burglary in which tropical fish were killed after their aquarium was smashed.

A burglar broke into Clancy's Fish Pub in Fremantle about 2.50am on Sunday.

"During the incident the business was ransacked and the offender smashed a large fish tank, killing all the tropical fish," a police spokeswoman said.

"Investigators believe the man pictured can help them with their investigation."
