Wet weather for most of WA

A storm is closing in on Perth as wet weather is forecast for most of the State tomorrow.

Showers and thunderstorms are forecast over the north and west Kimberley, Pilbara, west Gascoyne and western parts of the Southwest Land Division today.

The thunderstorms are expected to continue into Tuesday with morning showers near the Eucla coast.

Rain is forecast for the SW Capes district during the afternoon.

A strong wind warning was issued at 4pm for the Albany and Esperance coasts.

Showers and thunderstorms are expected to continue for the Kimberley coast and Pilbara coast and the Gascoyne for the rest of the week.

The South West Land Division is expecting storms on Wednesday extending into the south-west Goldfields during the afternoon. Morning showers are forecast near the eastern Eucla coast.

The rain is expected to continue into Thursday for the southern and eastern South West Land Division, southern Goldfields and western Eucla. The weather should ease and become isolated showers near the western south coast later in the day.
