Woman killed in head-on crash

A woman has died in a head-on collision in the Wheatbelt - the third fatality on WA roads this week.

The female driver was fatally injured when her vehicle collided head-on with another car on the Great Eastern Highway in Walgoolan, 20km east of Merredin.

It is believed two other people were injured in the crash, which happened about 12.30pm near the intersection of Shreeve Road.

The RAC Rescue helicopter will airlift a woman to Royal Perth Hospital.

It is the third fatality on WA roads this week.

A man, believed to be about 30 years old, died on Tuesday night after his motorbike collided with a Nissan X-Trail near the intersection of Vincent and Norfolk streets in North Perth.

A male motorcyclist was fatally injured in a crash with a car in Seville Grove on Monday night.
