Mum George back to work
She may have only given birth just over a month ago but Melissa George is already heading back to work.
The Perth-raised actress has landed a lead role opposite Katie Holmes and Rufus Sewell in US TV network ABC's as yet untitled drama pilot from writer/director Richard LaGravenese.
In the vein of Dangerous Liaisons, the project is set in New York and revolves round the love and rivalry between two equally matched, powerful socialites.
The former Home and Away star, who lives in France with her partner Jean-David Blanc, gave birth to their first-born son Raphael on February 11.
George was last seen on the small screen as a lead in espionage drama series Hunted and in a guest role on The Good Wife.
