Wonder boy heads west

He's the go-to designer for WA supermodels Nicole Trunfio and Jessica Gomes as well as infamous fashion plate Lara Bingle.

Now Sydney-based designer Dion Lee is heading to Perth for the first time as a special guest of chic Claremont boutique Adam Heath where he will meet and greet fans at a special cocktail event on March 26.

He's been described as "the wonder boy of Australian fashion" and is best known for his moulded-to-the-body cocktail dresses, digital prints and clever cutting and tailoring.

The softly spoken designer has already won a mind-boggling number of fashion awards and accolades in Australia, and now shows regularly in New York and London.

Guests on the night will also get a chance to meet some of the players at this year's Polo in the Valley, which takes place on April 6 at Duncraig Stud in the Swan Valley and is known as much for its frocked-up fashionista crowd as the action on the turf.
