One of the world's funniest women, Jennifer Saunders, is heading to Perth to give fans an insight into her incredible life and career.

The comedienne who created, wrote and starred in legendary British sitcom Absolutely Fabulous, will give an adults-only presentation about her hilarious, touching life story, as told in her autobiography Bonkers: My Life in Laughs at the Octagon Theatre at the University of WA on April 28.

Bonkers is full of riotous adventures: accidentally enrolling in a teacher training course with a young Dawn French, bluffing her way to each BBC series, shooting Lulu, trading wild faxes with Joanna Lumley, and touring India with Ruby Wax and Goldie Hawn.

There's cancer, too, when she becomes "Brave Jen". But her biggest battle is with the bane of her life: procrastination.
