Third D3gree, the first male and female group put together by the X Factor judges, have split.

Singers Kelebek, Jacinta Gulisano and Jordan Rodrigues, finished fourth on last year's Seven talent search and released a single, Different Kind of Love.

But rapper Kelebek has left to pursue a solo career - without appearing to let her bandmates know.

"We have had confirmation from Kelebek's manager that she has decided to leave THIRD D3GREE to pursue her own interests," Gulisano and Rodrigues tweeted from the group's official account.

"Unfortunately we have not heard from Kelebek herself as we can't get a hold of her . . .

"We will try our absolute best not to let you down, we can't thankyou enough for your continued support. Love always, Jordan and Jacinta x"

X Factor judge Natalie Bassingthwaighte, who mentored Third D3gree, tweeted: "So I can't comment on the situation. Other than to say @_jrodrigues1 and @jacintagee are sticking together and have some really exciting . . ."
