20-year-old 'clocked at 100km/h over limit'

A 20-year-old driver has allegedly been clocked travelling almost 100km/h above the posted speed limit in Baldivis.

The man’s Holden Clubsport was impounded this morning after he was recorded travelling 173km/h in an 80km/h zone on St Albans Road just before 9am.

Police said the man had been overtaking a road train.

He has been charged with one count of reckless driving.
