RAC chopper sent to horse incident

A 57-year-old man has been airlifted to hospital after he was knocked over by a horse in Chittering this afternoon.

The accident happened at a property on Spoonbill Close, near Hart Drive, about 1.30pm.

A St John Ambulance spokesman said the man was suffering from a fractured or dislocated hip.

He was flown to Royal Perth Hospital by the RAC Rescue helicopter.
