Australian funnywoman Magda Szubanski has gone back to Jenny Craig after failing to maintain her weight loss.
A Jenny Craig spokeswoman said the comedian had re-signed with the weightloss company but wouldn't comment on media reports she had signed a $1.25 million deal to become a Jenny Craig ambassador.
The Kath and Kim star's association with the company began in 2010 but she split from the weight loss program a year later.
"I can confirm she has rejoined Jenny Craig. I can't comment on the monetary side of things," the spokeswoman said on Friday.
"It wasn't about (money) for her. She did it because she needed to make some changes in her life.
"She's already losing weight which is great."
Szubanski lost 36 kilos with Jenny Craig the last time she was with them, dropping to 85kg from 121kg.
But her failure to maintain her goal weight reportedly led to the comic being dropped from Jenny Craig's promotional material, replaced by rising star Rebel Wilson.
However, the company and Wilson parted ways last year for unexplained reasons and former Spice Girl Mel B and X Factor judge Mel B came on board.
She lost 15kg, and is the only ambassador in recent years who has lost weight and kept it off.
Jenny Craig says it's not uncommon for people to lose weight and put it back on.
"It's quite normal for people to come back to Jenny Craig," said its spokeswoman.
"It's similar to quitting smoking more than once."
