Fire destroys Moora bakery

A fire has gutted a bakery in Moora, causing about $400,000 worth of damage.

The blaze at Pioneer Bakery on Padbury Street started about 6pm and took two fire crews about two hours to extinguish.

A Department of Fire and Emergency Services spokesman said the cause of the fire was still being investigated but was not believed to be suspicious.

Nobody was believed to have been in the building at the time and no injuries were reported.
