Mirrabooka detectives are appealing for help to identify a sex pest who allegedly indecently assaulted a woman and a 13-year-old girl in separate incidents at a suburban shopping centre.

Police say a 13-year-old girl was targeted by the man at the Big W store in Mirrabooka Shopping Centre on Saturday, February 8.

The girl and her brother became separated from their mother for a brief time when the man approached and indecently assaulted her.

The man then ran from the store.

Police believe he struck again at the Kmart store in the same shopping centre on Tuesday, February 25.

This time the alleged victim was a 20-year-old woman who was shopping with her sister.

Police say the woman was bending over to look at items when the man indecently assaulted her.

Security staff were notified and saw the man leaving the store.

Security camera footage of the man was released.

Anyone with information about these incidents or who recognises the man can call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
