A woman allegedly tried to hold up a Gosnells adult store yesterday afternoon.

Police say a woman entered Adult Shop on Main Street just after 2pm and demanded cash from staff.

The woman, described as dark-skinned and in her 30s, allegedly produced what looked like a firearm while making demands.

She was was not given money and left the store.

She was about 152cm tall, of chubby build and wore black pants, a black long-sleeved jumper, a black beanie, sunglasses and no shoes.
