Shane Warne recently hinted at a reconciliation with Liz Hurley but that now seems unlikely after his latest reported dalliance.

The former cricketer is said to have spent several hours in the hotel room of millionaire businesswoman Michelle Mone on February 16 shortly after returning from a Valentine's Day weekend with Hurley.

Warne split with his ex-fiance last year but the couple seemed keen to patch things up, with the Australian personality flying into the UK on February 14 to spend quality time with Hurley at their country mansion.

But the rumour mill went into overdrive when Warne was seen arriving at Mone's luxury hotel suite in London during the same trip, reportedly armed with champagne and roses.

Seeming to address the speculation, Mone, 42, yesterday wrote on her Twitter page she would never "meet a guy if he was taken".

The Scotland-based lingerie entrepreneur behind label Ultimo, who is said to be worth around $93 million, also confirmed she was single.

Warne, too, took to Twitter to slam the reports.

"Just read some more ludicrous & laughable reporting on me, what an absolute load of rubbish! Whatever, time to rack up the air miles again," the 44-year-old wrote.
