Hoon biker hit 192km/h

Two men have been charged with hooning after travelling at more than double the speed limit at the weekend.

Police seized a 21-year-old man's Ducati motorcycle after he allegedly travelled at 192km/h in a 90km/h zone at about 5.30pm on Saturday.

The man was caught speeding along Reid Highway near Altone Road in Beechboro.

Later that evening the same police officers seized a HSV Marloo Ute driven by a 40-year-old male, travelling along Wanneroo Road near Artiri Street at 129km/h in a 60km/h zone.

Both men were charged with reckless driving and were summonsed to appear before court.
