Armed roadhouse robbers steal cash

Two men wielded a knife and stole cash from workers at a Geraldton roadhouse last night.

A police spokesman said two men with covered faces entered a roadhouse on the North West Coastal Highway in Geraldton about 9.40pm.

One threatened a staff member with a knife while the other offender stood in the doorway to stop the doors closing.

The men fled after being given a sum of cash. It is possible the offenders left in a white station wagon.

Both offenders are described as being white, about 183cm tall. One was wearing a baseball cap, blue/grey jumper and track suit pants.

The other was wearing a black jumper and track pants.
