Raids uncover drugs, assault rifles

Police have charged a Wattle Grove man after raids uncovered drugs and weapons including assault rifles.

The first raid was on a storage unit in Albany Highway, Maddington where police allegedly found an M4 assault rifle, M1 carbine and an SKS assault rifle and ammunition.

The second raid at a home in Brittain Road, Wattle Grove yesterday, allegedly revealed methylamphetamine, steroids, MDMA, cocaine, heroin, Cannabis and cash.

A 36 year old Wattle Grove man will appear in the Midland Magistrates Court today on several charges.

A 27 year old Wattle Grove woman will summonsed in relation to the possession of methylamphetamine, cannabis, MDMA, cocaine, heroin and a weapon.
