1.3kg drug haul found in car

Two men from the State's north were arrested yesterday over the discovery of 1.3kg of methylamphetamine hidden in cars in Perth.

It is alleged the men travelled to the city earlier this month to pick up the drugs.

A police spokeswoman said it was believed the seized drugs were destined for the Kimberley and Pilbara.

A 49-year-old Broome man and a 59-year-old from Port Hedland were arrested in Perth yesterday.

Both have been charged with possessing a prohibited drug with intent to sell or supply.

They have been refused bail and will appear in Perth Magistrate's Court today.
