A man was allegedly stabbed with a bottle at a house in Bedford last night.

Police are investigating an incident in which a man and a woman were injured at a house in Bedford.

Police were called to the Drummond Street house at around 11.30pm last night.

A 41-year-old man had received wounds to his chest and hand, after having been allegedly stabbed with a bottle.

A 44-year-old woman received minor facial injuries.

The man was taken to RPH by ambulance.

Inquiries will continue.
