She's hinted at plans to quit Australia but if her latest social media comments are anything to go by, it looks as though Lara Bingle has done just that.
In the wake of comments to Woman's Day magazine that she and her actor beau Sam Worthington don't get any "peace" on home soil, the bikini model appears to have found her new base - New York.
Bingle and Worthington recently touched down in the icy-cold city to attend Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. And going by her latest conservation with New York-based photographer Ben Watts, the brother of actress Naomi Watts, the 26-year-old could be calling the Big Apple her new home.
In a series of comments that have appeared alongside one of Bingle's Instagram snaps, which shows a car hidden under a mountain of snow, Watts asked Bingle: "when are we shooting…Your in NYC? #shhhhhh (sic)"
Bingle responded with: "I'm here to stay! Catch up this week?"
But it seems Bingle and Worthington's attempts to evade the paparazzi pack have been anything but successful while in New York.
This week, numerous pictures have emerged of the couple snuggling up as they walk through the city's snow-covered streets, while in other shots a grim Worthington looks less than impressed while pictured sitting in the front row with Bingle at a fashion show.
Worthington is expected to spend some time in New York in the coming months to film screenwriter Khurram Longi's directing debut, the thriller Alive Alone.
