Armed robber steals cash from bottle shop

A man is wanted by police after an armed hold up at a Morley Liquor Store last night.

According to police, a man entered Morley Liquor Barn on Turon Street at about 8.30pm armed with a gun.

He allegedly threatened a staff member, demanding cash. He fled the store on foot with a sum of money and was last seen running along Turon Street.

Police describe the alleged offender as a dark-skinned male, who was wearing a black top with white stripes on the sleeves and dark track pants.

Anyone with information about this man is urged to call Crime Stoppers.
