A man is facing reckless driving and drink driving charges after police say he was clocked driving 60km/h above the speed limit.
Australind Police impounded the man's vehicle, a Holden Commodore, for 28 days.
Police say the driver was travelling at 146km/hr in an 80km/h zone on the Australind Bypass in Treendale.
It is alleged that the driver then failed a breath test.
