Setback stops Playing God

Star WA galloper Playing God has been retired after suffering a tendon injury in Melbourne this morning.

Playing God had worked brilliantly on Tuesday ahead of Saturday’s Group 1 C F Orr Stakes at Caulfield.

The Neville Parnham-trained six-year-old won two Group 1 Kingston Town Classics at Ascot and more than $1.6 million in prize money.

He is likely to stand at stud in WA.
