A wheelchair-bound woman was allegedly sexually assaulted by a taxi driver who was taking her home, police say.
Sex Assault Squad officers have charged a 58-year-old Dianella man over the alleged sexual assault on the 29-year-old disabled woman.
Police say that during the journey home yesterday the taxi driver parked the vehicle and sexually assaulted the victim while she was in her wheelchair in the back of the taxi.
The man has been charged with three counts of aggravated sexual penetration without consent and aggravated indecent assault.
He will appear in Perth Magistrates Court today.
