Teen beaten in home invasion

A teenager says he was tortured and beaten with a sword during a home robbery.

Seven News reported the 19-year-old was home alone when two men entered through an upstairs window.

It is understood the incident took place in Bunbury.

"I just came out of my room to get a drink and (the attackers) were at the top of the stairs," the man, who asked not to be named, told Seven.

"They immediately ran towards me and struck me without so much as a word."

The victim was taken through every room of his house and told to open everything before being tied up.

"They bound me by my legs first and then my arms (and) my mouth," he said.

Police are still searching for the attackers.
