Teen dead in Munster crash

UPDATE 7.45am: One teenager is dead and another is in hospital after a fatal crash in Perth's southern suburbs early this morning.

A St John Ambulance spokesman said the pair had walked out onto Stock Road near Beeliar Drive, in Munster, just after midnight when they were hit by a car.

A 14-year-old boy died at the scene about 12.15am and the girl, also aged 14, was taken to Princess Margaret Hospital under priority conditions. She remains in hospital this morning in a stable condition.

The driver of the car was not injured.

Police Major Crash officers are at the scene.

They have now reopened the intersection.

Police want to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time that may have seen the crash, the car involved or the victims before the incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
