Cars torched, vandalised at train station

Five cars left at Mandurah Train Station overnight have been vandalised, with a fire being started in two of the vehicles.

Police said a man started the fire in the back seat of a Hyundai Lantra, then smashed the side front window of a silver Ford Fiesta and set fire to it, causing extensive damage.

The man smashed windows or windscreens in three other cars.

Investigations are continuing and anyone with any information is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
