Diver dead in SW boat tragedy

A diver died in a boating tragedy near Dunsborough yesterday.

St John Ambulance and police were called to the Eagle Bay boat ramp about 12.35pm.

It is understood the Busselton man sustained fatal injuries after he was hit by a boat propeller and died at the scene. He was checking cray pots at the time.

Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
