Man in court over drug charge

A Katanning man has faced court after an alleged improvised drug manufacturing site was found in Albany yesterday.

Albany Detectives searched a property on Cordillera Street and allegedly found items used to manufacture methylamphetamine.

The 25-year-old was charged with one count of attempting to manufacture a prohibited drug.

He appeared in Albany Magistrate's Court yesterday and was released on bail to appear in court again on January 23.
