One suspect in three armed hold-ups

Police believe the same armed gunman could be responsible for hold-ups at three businesses in Perth’s south last night.

The robberies, which occurred in Langford and Willetton between 9.15pm and 10pm all involved a man of the same description.

A man threatened a staff member with a gun at a fast food outlet at the corner of Spencer and Nicholson Roads in Langford before leaving with cash.

He was last seen running towards Spencer Road.

Shortly after, a second fast food outlet on Burrendah Boulevard in Willetton was also targeted.

A staff member was threatened with a gun and the man left with cash.

A third incident was also reported at a pharmacy on Langford Avenue, Langford, where a staff member was also threatened with a gun before the man fled with cash.

The man was last seen walking past the Langford Tavern.

In all three incidents the man was described as being white, about 40 years old, 175cm tall and was wearing a black hoodie and black and white tracksuit pants.
