Six women stole food from a Barragup service station overnight and attacked the attendant.

The attack happened at a service station on Pinjarra Road at about 1am.

Police said the women stole the food before one struck the 22-year-old male attendant to the face with an elbow, hitting him in the eye.

The women fled in a black sedan and are described as being aged between 18 and 25 years old with dark complexions.
