The Perth Wildcats put their mini-slump behind them with a 102-87 win over the Townsville Crocodiles at the Perth Arena.

Import duo James Ennis (29 points) and Jermaine Beal (20) were top scorers for the NBL leaders.

Drake U’u was an unlikely star with 13 points including a perfect four from beyond the arc.

Peter Crawford top-scored for the Crocs with 16 points.

“After two losses we wanted to get a different line up and a different look in the starting five,” said Cats coach Trevor Gleeson.

“I thought the guys really stepped up, especially the guys off the bench who were able to weather the storm.”

“Having Drake on really gave us that extra boost and it was hard for the Crocodiles to guard five guys playing like that.”
