Former West Coast player Adam Hunter has been charged with possessing a prohibited drug after a police vehicle search near Geraldton yesterday.

It is alleged police found less than 2g of cocaine.

Mr Hunter, 32, left the Eagles after a decorated career in 2009.

He played in the club’s premiership-winning team in 2006.
