Eight charged after Huntingdale raids

Eight people have been charged after police carried out raids in Huntingdale yesterday.

A police spokeswoman said Armadale Detectives had been investigating an alleged criminal network operating in the South East Metropolitan district.

Police target 'Beacy Bronx'

Since November, search warrants have been executed on premises in Harpenden Street and Alciston Way in Huntingdale.

Police conducted a search warrant on a unit in Alloa Road, Maddington, yesterday.

"As a result of the search warrants two women and six men have been charged with 45 criminal offences, including drug, firearm and stealing charges," the police spokeswoman said.


Huntingdale charges

A 45-year-old Huntingdale man has been charged with 5 x Possess Stolen Property; 4 x Aggravated Possession of Unlicensed Firearm; 3 x Possess a Prohibited Drug; 2 x Possession of a Prohibited Drug with Intent; one count each of Having Ready Access to Weapons and Cash; Having Ready Access to Weapons and Prohibited Drugs; Unlawful Possession; Possession of unlicenced ammunition;
Possess Drug Paraphernalia; Fail to Stop and Reckless Driving. He will appear in the Armadale Magistrates Court on January 24.

A 26-year-old Huntingdale man has been charged with 3 x Aggravated Possession of Unlicensed Firearms and one count each of Possess Prohibited Weapon; Possess Dangerous Goods and Possess Drug Paraphernalia. He will appear in the Armadale Magistrates Court on January 24.

A 23-year-old Huntingdale man has been charged with 3 x Steal Motor Vehicle and 2 x MDL. He will appear in the Armadale Magistrates Court on January 21.

A 40-year-old Geraldton man has been charged with 4 x Aggravated Possession of Unlicensed Firearms and he will appear in the Armadale Magistrates Court today.

A 29-year-old Huntingdale woman will be summonsed for Possess a Weapon and Possess Amphetamines.

A 31-year-old Huntingdale woman has been charged with Possess Amphetamine and Possess Paraphernalia. She will appear in the Armadale Magistrates Court on January 28.

A 29-year-old Thornlie man has been charged with 2 x Acts Likely to Endanger Life, Health or Safety. No court date has been scheduled at this time.

A 30-year-old Gosnells man has been charged with Aggravated Common Assault and Damage.
