Stabbing adds to Balga's woes

A 22-year-old man is in hospital after he was stabbed overnight.

Police were called to a group of businesses in Culloton Crescent, Balga around 2am this morning, where the man, whose address is not known, was found on the outside stairs of one of those premises.

He had suffered what appeared to be a stab wound to his left leg. He was taken by ambulance to RPH where he is in a stable condition.

"The circumstances surrounding his injury are yet to be determined and he is yet to be interviewed by Detectives who will continue the investigation today," a police spokesman said.

The injury follows an alleged fatal stabbing in Balga on Sunday, January 29.

Two men have been charged over the death of Brian Keenan, 50, outside his home.

A week earlier, a 16-year-old boy was allegedly bashed and left unconscious in a Princess Wallington Reserve in Balga.

Four youths have been charged in relation to his death.
