'Happy New Year ya bogan'

A snap of supermodel Nicole Trunfio, beer in hand while on holiday near Pemberton, has prompted some lighthearted ribbing from another WA beauty, Jessica Gomes.

Trunfio is in WA to start filming the movie Paper Planes alongside Sam Worthington and Anthony LaPaglia.

She posted the photograph on her Instagram account, writing: "Out on the dunes 4-wheel-driving with my bros, bloody good day."

Gomes, who spent the Christmas break in the US, replied: "Happy new year ya bogan!!"

Trunfio said she was in the Yeagarup Dunes.
